Abstract
In thе article our concept of the «funnel» is introduced, which will help
students expand their vocabulary when learning a foreign language. Thanks
to its simplicity and abstractness, it will be easy for students to understand the
concept and for teachers to implement it in the pedagogical process. Within its
framework, one can use various concrete techniques and means of working with
vocabulary
