Computational Analysis of Factors Affecting Diabetic Complications

Abstract

A preliminary computational analysis of a number of factors affecting the diabetic patients was carried out. The study examined the manner the types and extent of diabetic parameters, physiological parameters: (e.g. systolic blood pressure (SBP), body mass index (BMI), fasting blood sugar (FBS), hemoglobin A1C (HbA1c), cholesterol and triacylglycerol (TAG)), age and gender. The result has shown interesting information for instance, there relationship between female and BMI. Also people taking insulin are more affected by BMI SBP is higher in people who are taking insulin than in those who are not. The poor classification of HbAlc1 is connected to FBS (diabetic). A more in depth analysis of these factors are currently ongoing to develop a smart assessment system for the diabetic patients.
