Abstract
The ligand complexes of Cr (III) ,Cu (II) and Fe(III) with Lysine have been synthesized and characterized. The Complexes were characterized by the physicochemical and spectroscopic techniques as electric conductivity, metal contents, IR, UV–Visible, and molar conductance techniques. The stoichiometric ratios of the synthesized complexes were confirmed by using molar ratio method. The results of conductivity were ranged between (2.3 -6.5), supports the presence of non – electrolyte nature for these complexes. The results of the melting point of the studied complexes showed different values between the free ligand and complexes. Solvent effect on the electronic spectra of the lysine and their complexes was examined using solvents with different polarities. The results of the effect of pH on the absorbance values showed wide variations.
