Abstract
The study was methodologically informed by a case study design. Based on 50 participants, the study holds the view that. environmental education should be an integral part of the broader framework for the conservation of wildlife. Any attempt towards conservation of wildlife that sidesteps environmental education would be marred with futility as perpetrators of poaching would not behaviourally appreciate why they should conserve wildlife, especially
that, effects are long term.
