Abstract
Companies operating transportation fleets can participate indistinctly in the roles of logistics operator and marketer in the supply chain. The objective of this study is to propose the vehicles degradation monitoring in a company which takes part with a combination of roles in the supply chain, thru the availability indicator, a control limit based on the impacts on the economic result of the vehicles operation and considering the subcontracting influence. This proposal permits to identify the vehicles that impact positively or negatively on the entity economic result and thus the detection of opportunities for improvement. The classification of the impact of the vehicle is done by the graphical method through the Rationality Status Chart. The proposal application to a real fleet allowed to identify the vehicles that negatively impact the economic results. Concordance analysis is used to validate the results, obtaining an almost perfect degree of general agreement.
