Abstract
The article describes topics of master's theses in the field of «Library and Information Activities» at the Kemerovo State Institute of Culture. The authors pay special attention to the presented methods of scientific research. Fifty-three research methods have been identified and divided into three groups: theoretical, empirical and methods of processing and visualizing of empirical information.
