Abstract
In the new compound Pb9Al8O21 parts of Pb2+ are replaced by Sr2+. Isolated crystals of Pb8Pb0,6Sr0,4Al8O21 were investigated by single crystal work (space group Pa 3-T6
h; α = 13,26 Å; Z = 4). It can be shown, that the Pb2+ ion in the position 4b (posessing an untypical 2+6 coordination) is partly substituted by Sr2+.
