Abstract

Abstract By analyzing the melting point diagrams of some methylhalogenosilane-pyridine systems the existance of the stable addition compounds CH3SiCl3 · 2 py, CH3SiBr3 · 2 py, (CH3)2SiBr2 · py, (CH3)3SiBr · py was proved. In the systems (CH3)2SiCl2/py and (CH3)2SiBr2/py unstable 1:2-complexes are also found. (CH3)3SiCl forms no complexes with pyridine.
