Darstellung und Kristallstruktur von CaCuGe / Preparation and Crystal Structure of CaCuGe

Abstract

CaCuGe crystallizes orthorhombic, Pna21 with a = 2136 ± 2 pm, b = 754 ± 1 pm, c = 435 ± 1 pm, z = 12. The Cu atoms together with the Ge atoms form puckered layers parallel to the b/c-plane. Within each layer each Cu atom is bonded to three Ge atoms and viceversa. Between the layers the Ca atoms are located.
