Abstract

The title compounds have been prepared and structurally characterized. Na2CuP crystallizes in the Na2CuAs-structure type/(Cmcm) forming infinite Cu—P-zigzag-chains. In the silver compounds we found analogous Ag—E(V)-chains in a cell with atomic positions, which slightly violate the above symmetry.
