Abstract
By determination of the sedimentation and diffusion constant a molecular weight of 6500 can be calculated for the kallikrein-inactivator from bovine lung. Under certain conditions the molecule has a tendency to dimerize. A mechanism for dimerisation is proposed. The peptide chain contains 58 amino acids; it starts with H-Arg-Pro and ends with Gly-AlaOH.
