Abstract
A turbulent conducting fluid is considered. In the case of homogeneous, isotropic turbulence with no reflection symmetry OHM’S law for the global fields reads i=σ(E+αB), α=const. Evidence is given for dynamo maintenance of the electromagnetic fields by solving the equations of two simple models: The turbulent motion takes place in a sphere, which is embedded in a nonconducting space in the first case and in a conducting space with the same conductivity in the second case.
