Abstract

Lithium (di-t-butyl)phosphide reacts with the trichlorides of yttrium, holmium, erbium, thulium, ytterbium and lutetium under elimination of lithium chloride and formation of the corresponding tris(di-t-butylphosphine) derivatives.
