Synthese und Reaktionen von Eisen-Schwefel-Komplexen mit CO- und P(CH3)3-Liganden [1] / Synthesis and Reactions of Iron Sulfur Complexes with CO and P(CH3)3 Ligands

Abstract

Cis-dicarbonyl complexes of Fe(II) with o-benzenedithiolate and o-methylthiobenzenethiolate ligands react with PMe3 yielding [Fe(CO)2(PMe3)2(C6H4S2)] and [Fe(CO)(PMe3)(CH3S-C6H4-S)2], respectively. The reaction of [Fe(CH3S-C6H4-S)2], accessible only in solution, with PMe3 affords the labile [Fe(PMe3)2(CH3S-C6H4-S)2], which with CO rapidly yields the monocarbonyl complex [Fe(CO)(PMe3)(CH3S-C6H4-S2)]. The anion [Fe(CO)2(C6H4S2)2]2-, hitherto accessible in solution only, could be precipitated in the presence of NaBH4 as (NMe4)2[Fe(CO)2(C6H4S2)2]
