Abstract
Abstract
This article offers some personal reflections on the methodology of source-work research based on my experience with the production of Kierkegaard and his Danish Contemporaries, which constitutes volume 7 in the series, Kierkegaard Research: Sources, Reception and Resources. While source-work research is valuable in many cases for understanding Kierkegaard’s texts, I suggest that it does have limitations in the cases of some of Kierkegaard’s relations to his contemporary Danish authors.
