Abstract

Abstract In this work, the optical characteristics of SiO2 (refractive index [ n n ], dielectric constant [ ε r {\varepsilon }_{{\rm{r}}} ], reflectivity [R], transmissivity [T], absorptivity [A], and absorption coefficient [α]) were studied using the Lorentz model. A comparison was made with the practical results of previous studies and showed a good agreement.
