Abstract
The present contribution shows that a correlation between the rating of elastic moduli E [tension], G [torsion] and B [for hydrostatic compression] and that of the latent fusion heat for metallic elements exits in subgroups. It was shown that for pairs of metals with close E-values and close values of atomic mass and volume parameters, also the bulk moduli B are close. However when the mass-parameter of the second metal of the pair is evidently smaller, than also its B-modulus is much smaller for this metal. Therefore is the Young’s modulus a better measure of bond force magnitude than the bulk modulus.
