Abstract

The new organotris(phosphino)silanes RSi(PH2)3 (R = Me (1), Et (2), i-Pr (3), Ph (4)) have been synthesized by reaction of the appropriate chlorosilanes RSiCl3 with LiAl(PH2)4 in the molar ratio 1:0,75. With an excess of RSiCl3 the mixed chlorophosphinosilanes RSi(PH2)Cl2 and RSi(PH2)2Cl have also been obtained, the 31P NMR data of which are reported. The compounds 1-4 could be isolated in pure form and have been fully characterized by elemental analyses and various spectroscopic methods
