Abstract

The unit cell of [LFe]Br3 · 4 H2O (L = 1,2-bis-(1,4,7-triaza-1-cyclononyl)ethane) is monoclinic, space group P21/c, with a = 9.609(3), b = 17.75(1), c = 14.537(6) Å, β = 104.12(3)°, and Z = 4. The iron center is in a distorted trigonal prismatic environment of six nitrogen atoms.
