Abstract
Luminescence decay times of CsJ- and CsJ/Tl-crystals with different Tl-concentrations have been measured after excitation with UV-light-, electron- and ion-pulses.
Taking the model of Bonanomi and Rossel as a basis the results are explained by two energy transfer mechanisms: the fast one is caused by excitons, the slow one by electron-hole-pairs.
