Abstract

The quadrupole hyperfine structure of 27Al79Br of the rotational transition J = 0 → 1 was measured. We obtained the following quadrupole coupling constants: eq0 Q (27Al) = -27.90 (50) MHz, eq0 Q (79Br) = +78.78 (20) MHz . The hyperfine structure of the rotational transition J = 1 → 2 of 27Al35Cl, measured by Lide, was reassigned and the fit of the spectrum resulted in the molecule parameters: e q0 Q(27Al) = -29.8 (50) MHz , e q0 Q(35Cl) = - 8.6 (10) MHz .
