Abstract

The gJ-factor and the molecular magnetic susceptibility anisotropy ξT have been measured for 74Ge16O and 28Si32S in the vibrational states υ=0, 1, 2 and υ= 0, 1, 2, 3 respectively: Having measured gJ and ξT as functions of υ we were able to derive the molecular and electronic quadrupole moment equally as functions of the vibrational state according to the method of Newell and Ramsey.
