Abstract
Quenching of POPOP fiuorecsence by nitrobenzene follows a diffusion controlled dynamic mechanisme. The characteristic halve value concentration is linearly depending on the viscosity of the used benzene-paraffinoil mixtures. Inclination and axis intersection of this linear correlation give information on the effective quenching radius (a ≈ 17.4 x 10-8 cm) and on the quenching probability per collision (γ≈ 0.7).
