Abstract
Bi2PdO4 was prepared and investigated by X-ray single crystal methods (a = 862.3; c = 590.9 pm, space group C4V
10—I4 cm). It shows isolated coplanar oxygen polyhedra around Pd2+ with an identical construction to that of Bi2CuO4.
