Abstract
The new intermetallic compounds CaMn2Sb2, SrMn2Sb2 and CaMn2Bi2 have been prepared and structurally characterized. They are isotypic and crystallize trigonal in the anti-Ce2O2S-structure with the lattice constants:
CaMn2Sb2: a = 4.54(1), c = 7.48(1), c/a = 1.65.
SrMn2Sb2: a = 4.56(1), c = 7.70(1), c/a = 1.69.
CaMn2Bi2: a = 4.63(1), c = 7.64(1), c/a = 1.65.
