Abstract
A new improved synthesis of methionineenkephalin is described. For methionineenkephalin the structure
L-Tyr-Gly-Gly-L-Phe-L-Met-OH has been suggested most recently. The peptide is synthesized from Boc-Gly-Gly-OH, H-L-Phe-OMe, Boc-L-Tyr(Bzl)-OH and H-L-Met-OMe by means of “classical” methods.
