Abstract

Aniline tricarbonyl chromium complexes η6-C6H4(R)NHR1)Cr(CO)3 (R = H, CH3; R1 = H, CH3) are added to [(OC)5Re(η2-C2H4)]+ and [(η5-C5H5)Fe(CO)2(η2-C2H4)]+ to give the heterobimetallic ligand bridged complexes (OC)3Cr(η6-C6H4(R)N(R1)C2H4-η1)Re(CO)5 and (OC)3Cr(η6-C6H4(R)N(R1)C2H4-η1)Fe(CO)2(η5-C5H5). The structure of (OC)3Cr(η6- C6H4(CH3)N(H)C2H4-η1)Re(CO)5 was determined by X-ray diffraction analysis.
