Abstract

Mercury Hexaselenidohypodiphosphate Hg2P2Se6 has been prepared and its vibrational spectrum recorded. The observed frequencies of Hg2P2Se6 are assigned on the basis of P2Se64- units with C2h symmetry. DTA data have been determined and interpreted.
