Abstract
The distribution of deuterons in a self-target in gold has been measured by first saturating the target with a high current of deuterons and then testing the distribution of deuterons by making use of small ion currents of various energies and recording the neutron yield. It is shown that the distribution in deuteron-density is linear for the saturated target.
