Abstract
Abstract
We discuss the implications of a complex scalar field in conformal cosmology in the presence of a gauge-mediated supersymmetric (SUSY) breaking potential. A connection between the cosmological constant, the SUSY mass of the field and the Hubble mass is obtained. The transition from the complex to the real scalar field reveals a number of results in FRW cosmology, which are in agreement with data provided by recent astronomical observations, in particular, the pulsating white dwarf G116-B15A concerning the estimates of the probable range of the gravitational constant.
