Abstract

Abstract In this work, we employ minimization arguments and topological degree theory for mappings of type S + ${S_{+}}$ to prove the existence of infinite sequences of ordered solutions for a class of nonlinear equations in which the semilinear term vanishes an infinite number of times. Our results extend earlier ones by Hess [10] and by Loc and Schmitt [15].
