Abstract
The presence of 20 flavonoids has been detected in herbs of Larrea tridentata. Six pigments were isolated and characterized by chromatographic and spectrophotometric methods (shifts with several reagents), acid hydrolytic and alkaline cleavage and finally by comparison with authentic samples.
The structure of this compounds has been established as: quercetin-3-rhamnoglucoside, quercetin-3-glucoside, kaempferol-3-methyl ether, quercetin-31-methyl ether, kaempferol and quercetin.
