Abstract
By the reaction of 2-alkyl-4,6-dichloro-1,3,5-trimethylborazines with bis(trimethylsilyl)amine and pyrolysis of the products in vacuo, macrocyclic polyborazines consisting of NH-bridged borazine rings are obtained. Besides pentacyclic systems (of four borazine rings) which have been isolated, a hexacyclic compound formed by five borazines was detected in a mass spectrum
