Abstract
New adducts of nitrogen triiodide with several tertiary N-bases have been prepared. Their analyses, general properties, IR-spectra and structures are reported briefly. Experiments to crystallize a compound with a ratio N : I : chinuclidin = 1 : 4 : 1 resulted in the preparation of cristallized chinuclidiniumpentaiodide (chin H)I3 • I2, the X-ray structure analysis of which is reported.
