Abstract
Azidoformamidinium chloride reacts with triphenylphosphine to yield the triphenylphosphine imino azo formamidinium chloride (1). 1 eliminate nitrogen to give triphenylphosphine imino formamidinium chloride (2). The vibrational spectra of 2 is discussed in view of the structure.
