Abstract
Dimethyl indium chloride alkylates SbCl5, (CH3)3SbCl2 and (CH3)3AsCl2 forming ionic tetramethylstibonium and tetramethylarsonium derivatives such as [(CH3)4Sb]+ [SbCl6]-, [(CH3)4Sb]+ [CH3InCl3]- and [(CH3)4As]+ [CH3InCl3]-. The vibrational spectra are discussed.
