Abstract
Some phenylhydrazines were readily converted to diaryltellurium dichlorides in 27-40% yield when treated with TeO2 in refluxing acetic acid containing lithium chloride. It was also found that certain ketones could be regenerated from their corresponding semicarbazones, azines and hydrazones when submitted to the same reaction conditions
