Basic values for the volume increments are calculated for pseudohalide anions such as N3
−, CN−, OCN−, SCN− and C(CN)3
− using Biltz’s methods and Biltz volumes for monoatomic cations. The results are compared within the cohort and with the reported data for halide anions and for N(CN)2
−.
