Abstract
The preparation of CH3SO2NBrCl and p-CH3C6H4NBrCl is described. These compounds react with (C6H5)4Sn, (C6H5)4Pb, and (C6H5)2Hg to give derivatives
CH3SO2N(C1)M(C6H5)n-1. In these reactions one phenyl group is cleaved from the metal.
