Abstract
Phase studies were performed in the system Tl2S + TlX (X = Cl, Br, I) and showed the existence of a new type of compound Tl6X4S in the quasibinary systems. In addition, in the iodide system a high temperature compound Tl3SI exists. The enthalpy of melting of Tl6I4S is given.
