Abstract
On the basis of literature data we prepared linear chlorophosphazenes (PCl3NPCl3)+Cl- and (PCl3NPCl2NPCl2PCl3)+PCl6-, and followed the course of their amonolysis. The amonolysis of these compounds leads to the formation of cyclic chlorophosphazenes (PNCl2)n n = 3,4. We found conditions for the preparation of the tetramer (PNCl2)4 - octachlorocyclotetraphosphazene in a pure state and in a larger amount. In principle the tetramer is formed according to the reaction PCl3 + Cl2 + NH3, leading to a mixture of chlorophosphazenes (PNCl2)n n = 3-8, from which it must be isolated using various separation methods.
