Abstract
Aim: In this in vitro study, it was aimed to evaluate the mechanical properties of a newly developed dental composite material with microhybrid filler content and its flexural strength comparatively with two different microhybrid filler composite materials.
Material and Methods:
In the current study, the newly produced Universal Composite filling material (Dolgunn, Himg Seramik ve Medikal Kompozit San.Tic. Ltd.Sti, Turkey) and 2 different microhybrid composite materials (G-aenial Anterior, GC-Japan and Filtek Z250 3M, USA) were used. Ten rectangular prisms (2x2x25 mm in size) samples were prepared from each filling material, and the bending strength values were measured at a speed of 1 mm/min in an instron test device. Kruskal-Wallis test was used for statistical analysis of the data. Statistical significance level was taken as p=0.05 for all tests.
