Abstract
Cemento-ossifying fibroma (COF) is a benign neoplasm that arises from the periodontal membrane which contains multipotential cells that are capable of forming cementum, lamellar bone and fibrous tissue. Juvenile cemento-ossifying fibroma is a type of fibro osseous lesion which contains cementoid tissue and developed in first two decades of life. Majority of the juvenile COF are aggressive in nature that necessitates extensive radical surgery to prevent the recurrence. This case report describes the conservative surgical management of juvenile cemento- ossifying fibroma in an 8 year old child with the preservation of permanent teeth and long term follow up.
