Abstract

This article is an affectionate memoir of the late Jerry B. Harvey by a close faculty associate who saw him daily and collaborated with him on numerous academic projects at George Washington University over a period of twenty-four years. Several key qualities combine to make Harvey, a Texan to his bones, an unforgettable person. Explanations are offered for Harvey's unique perspective on human behavior in organizations.
