5. Assuming the anti-proton has zero « strangeness », and using the scheme ofM. Gell-Mann (Pisa Conference Report, Suppl. Nuovo Cimento, 1956) it follows that an even number of K-mesons must be produced. A stopped anti-proton can produce, only two K-mesons.
