To the best of our knowledge, this is the only peer-reviewed/indexed journal article on the subject of how one fluoroscopy unit functions and how one can safely use fluoroscopy in the practice of pain medicine. It has been written specifically for the interventional pain medicine physician. In addition, this article appears in a journal to which most interventionalists already subscribe. It is a bit technical and our readers are urged to read reference 6 before attempting to read it.
