To cite just two examples: a scholarly article on science communication made serious mistakes in the chronology of cold fusion, and a newspaper article published at the time of Stanley PONS's failure to appear at an October 1990 meeting in Salt Lake City failed to acknowledge a major conference on anomalous effects in deuterium/solid systems that occurred at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, at the same time. To protect the perpetrators, we will not further identify them.
