We should note that it is possible to obtain theSU 6 sum rules simply by assuming the ΔI=1/2 rule for the λ-quark decay amplitudes and using quark amplitude additivity as has been recently shown byS. Badier (Orsay preprint TL/182, 1967). However, to derive the brokenSU 6 sum rules we must use the Suzuki-Sugawara technique as well. This addition in fact derives the ΔI=1/2 rule for the λ-quark amplitudes and coincidently adds greatly to notational ease.
