Evaluation of quantitative PET/MR enterography biomarkers for discrimination of inflammatory strictures from fibrotic strictures in crohn disease. Radiology. 2015;150566. Retrospective study identified three PET/MRE biomarkers that were significantly different between fibrosis and active inflammation in a cohort of CD patients who underwent surgical resection of strictures. This suggests a future role for quantitatively distinguishing between fibrosis and active inflammation.
