5. UV spectra were recorded in cyclohexane using a Perkin-Elmer 402 instrument. IR spectra were taken in CCl4 on a Perkin-Elmer 157 instrument. Mass spectra were obtained with an AEI MS 902 spectrometer using the direct inlet technique.
